Air Texture Drywall
Can you rent drywall mud-sprayers from Home Depot?
Are they big and bulky? I have an air compressor and about 12 sheets to tape mud and texture. How is it best to tape off, using tape edged paper or sheets of plastic/masking tape? I want “knock-down” texture so how long do I wait until I use a spatula to flatten the texture? Thanks.
Yes, they do rent the texture sprayers, they don’t need a compressor they are self contained. You wait about 15 min before you knock down the splatter. You need to use drywall paper tape to tape the seams. You may want to call a local drywall comapany to give you a quote, you may be surprised on how cheaply they may do that job for you. They are professional and can get in and out. This is not an easy job for 1 person.
