I’m a cutter…..I need urgent help!!!!!!?
Lately, I’ve been having a really hard time resisting the urge to cut. Once I went as far as to disinfect the razor and clean my arms but then stopped. I tried squeezing ice really hard but it doesn’t do anything other than numb my skin. My head feels so heavy sometimes I feel like it’s gonna burst and most of the time I feel like I might suddenly lose control of my hands and hurt myself out of an impulse. So I need some suggestions to resist the urge…IMMEDIATELY
Although I don’t understand what would make a person cut, I know enough to tell you that it’s not good for you, but then again you already knew that.
Maybe you should try some other form of pain. I’ll give some suggestions.
Snap yourself with rubber bands
pierce your skin with needles
smack yourself with a paddle, flogger, piece of rope, etc.
wear shoes that are too small (you know that hurts)
These are other forms of pain that will take your mind off of what you are hurting from. They are also things that you can control so that you can control yourself once again but these are much less dangerous.
