Car LCD Blackout Windows and Windscreen?
A wicked idea ocurred to me the other day when me and my girlfriend were in a traffic jam we both got a bit fruity there and then. She started feeling my south pole, things started getting a bit public-un-friendly and at that point I thought “woudln’t it be great if you could just press a button and the windows would black-out”.
Now I aint no braniac, and I don’t know much about electronics, but surely if you could take the same stuff or screen used in, say, a digital watch but scale-up one of the digit segments to the size of a window and you would have a window that could blackout at the push of a switch.
Would anyone be able to tell me firstly if this would be possible?
If possible then secondly: if it exists?
and if it exists then thirdly how much are they and where do you buy them?
Yea well done….. I think anyone with any sort of common sense knows that tinted on front and windscreen are illegal. I meant like when your parked up which would not be illegal.
Yes it possible and yes it exists and yes it would cost you an arm and a leg so to speak. it’s a process of sandwiching a membrane between two thin pieces of glass. then they send an electrical change through it and it go’s from clear to well what ever colour you wise.
