99 VW turns over but wont start after getting a new battery.Started with old battery, with a boost?
Car was running fine on Wednesday. Friday morning went to start it and would not start, no lights or anything was left on. With a boost it started fine. Took it in to get an oil change and new battery to Walmart (bad choice). When we went to pick it up it was not starting, it would turn over but not start. The car has a car starter installed in it, not sure if that affects the new battery?
Phone your VW dealer, you may have set off the factory security system when you took out the old battery.
