Iphone SDK?
So, the Apple Iphone SDK was released earlier today. No sorry, there is not an itunes update for it though. You will need to go to http://developer.apple.com/iphone/ to get started. SDK is just that… A development kit to help 3rd parties create apps for the iphone/touch. You will not be getting any 3rd party apps yet, however, with SDK released, alot of developers are already cranking out code and getting 3rd party apps approved by Apple. Hope this clears any confusion for all of those who want approved native 3rd party apps right now.
Also be assured that as of yet ZiPhone WILL continue to jailbreak and unlock up to firmware 1.1.4. Installer.app is current and does continue to work.
Again… iPhone SDK is not a release associated with iTunes, rather it is a development tool for DEVELOPERS to have and to develope 3rd party native apps.
